Cesare is so, so much an homage to Michael Corleone. The son on whom all the aspirations for glory rest, and yet the son who is expected to serve in the interests of the Borgias’ underworld. Disappointing father by fulfilling father’s expectations. Disposing of the unstable elements, expected to show restraint in contrast to his hothead brother, and ultimately doing whatever is necessary to preserve and protect his family.

This is my biggest piece to date, and it runs down the left side of my rib cage. The words are from the astronautalis song, “The River, The Woods” and read “Hold still, and listen, your hand on my heart, if you need them these beacons will lead you back to the start.” His music really means a lot to me, and I started his street team to help him out.
